Vascularisation of Electrospun Nanomatrices in vivo
نویسندگان
چکیده
Introduction The clinical application of nanotechnology and nanofiber scaffolds especially has been boosted in the last years. Until now no data exist regarding the vascularisation of such electrospun nanofiber scaffolds in vivo, especially not on the necessary duration of prevascularisation which would then mark the best time point for secondary cell implantation. Since this period of vascularisation is essential for successful Tissue Engineering approaches in vivo, the aim of this study was the assessment of in vivo vascularisation phenomena within different, newly developed electrospun nanofibers in the microsurgical AV-loop rat model.

Background and purpose: Studies showed that biocompatible and biodegradable materials in tissue engineering can be used to heal wounds. The aim of this study was to fabricate polyurethane/royal jelly/hyaluronic acid scaffold with suitable biological properties for wound healing using electrospinning method. Materials and methods: In this applied experimental study, to make a nanofiber scaffold...
متن کاملDrug-loaded electrospun nanofibrous sheets as barriers against postsurgical adhesions in mice model
Objectives: Postsurgical adhesion is one of the common complications after surgery. Some anti-adhesion barriers are commercially available which are not customary used by physicians as much as expected because of ineffectiveness. Recently, nanofibers have been introduced as anti-adhesion barriers with t...
متن کاملEx Vivo Expansion of Umbilical Cord Blood Hematopoietic Stem Cells on Collagen- Fibronectin Coated Electrospun Nano Scaffold
Background and Objective: Umbilical Cord blood (UCB) hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) transplantation is a therapeutic approach for the treatment of malignant and non-malignant hematologic disorders due to ease of collection, lack of risk for donors and lower levels of infection. Moreover, it is considered a good alternative for bone marrow HSC transplantation. The main limitation of their use is ...
متن کاملTissue engineered bone grafts based on biomimetic nanocomposite PLGA/amorphous calcium phosphate scaffold and human adipose-derived stem cells.
For tissue engineering of critical size bone grafts, nanocomposites are getting more and more attractive due to their controllable physical and biological properties. We report in vitro and in vivo behaviour of an electrospun nanocomposite based on poly-lactic-co-glycolic acid and amorphous calcium phosphate nanoparticles (PLGA/a-CaP) seeded with human adipose-derived stem cells (ASC) compared ...
متن کاملPreparation and characterization of CS/ PEO/ cefazolin nanofibers with in vitro and in vivo testing
Objective(S): Electrospinning of chitosan/polyethylene oxide (CS/PEO) nanofibers with the addition of cefazolin to create nanofibers with antimicrobial properties were examined. Methods: Polymeric nanofibers including CS/PEO and CS/PEO /cefazolin, were produced by electrospinning method. The range of nanofiber was 60-100 nm in diameter and measured with I...
